I use the plugin to associate all archiv types with 7zip. That works fine with the most archive types. Only the zip format doesn't work: zip-files have no file icon (only the windows icon for unknown files types), by doubleclicking on zip-files the dialog for choosing a program appears and so. (context menu entries work)
When I check zip in the options dialog of the plugin and close with OK, there are no changes. When I open the dialog a second time, zip is unchecked.
I guess this has to do the Windows XP zip engine (I deactivated it), but I don't know what's the problem.
I got the same problem with another file type (png or jpeg, I don't remember).
To solve the problem, I had to manually clean up the windows registry.
There's probably another solve; and of course, I suggest not to meddle with the registry unless you know exactly what you're doing...
(may be you can use some registry cleaning program)
