I know that 7Zip 4.0 is where Absolute Paths are supported. However anyone know of a way till then that we could fake this in a batch file?
7za a -tzip -r -m9 %USERNAME%_mydocs.zip "%USERPROFILE%\my documents\*"
7za a -tzip -r -m9 _mydocs.zip "my documents\*" -o%USERNAME%
will work if you don't mind the directory tree being relative to "My Documents" instead of "%USERPROFILE%\My Documents".
shortly after posting figured out the change to that directory so not absolute path issue there.
i need backup of our computer kashif
i have share with kashif computer
i wrote syntax
7z a acc.7z \\kashif\acc\*.*
i found message
