    Hi all!
    the question is:
While compessing a big file, when I try to stop the archiving process, it doesn't stop. Why?
P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

This has happened to me too, though it's usually only when using the Ultra method, which uses a great deal of memory.  It *will* stop, but not immediately.  And you can continue clicking "cancel" and it will ask you if you want to and you can hit "yes" and it appears as if nothing is happening.  However, if you were to open up Task Manager and watch the 7-zip process, you would notice the Virtual Memory is huge, and slowly decreasing.  The process won't cancel or exit until the virutal memory has completely emptied, which takes a minute or so, in my experience, anyway.  Next time give it about 1-3 minutes to stop (or more, if you have less than 512MB RAM and a P4 2.66Ghz - which is what I'm running).
