    Dear folks,

I'm new here and haven't found an solution to my problem.
If there is already a thread with topic I'd be happy for a link.

We have installed 7zip via silent install, what works good.
The problem occurs when using the context menue of 7zip:

The language of 7zip is german as preferred.
Only the context menue remains in engish until we opened the preferences, changed the language once to english and again back to german.
As we need the silent installation for quiet a lot of computers we don't have the possibillity to do that everywhere.

Is a solution known to have the context menue in the preferred language directly?
We use the msi-file, where we changed in the setup.inf some options:

    MsiExec /I 7z920-x64.msi ALLUSERS="1"   REBOOT=REALLYSUPPRESS ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT=1 /qr /Li "%MSILogFile%"

We tried our best, now we have hope to find a solution with some help.

Thanks in advance to any suggestion!

    chris

After completing the installation msi just add a registry key with the desired language (for example, Russian)

    Reg Add "HKCU\Software\7-Zip" /v "Lang" /t REG_SZ /d "ru" /f

    1) One way is to set:

    "Lang"="de"
But it's only for current user:

    2) I have changed some things with language code in latest versions.
So 7-Zip 9.25 alpha or later version must work better.
