    Hi there

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?  I want to use a batch file to zip the entire contents of My Documents with a password.  Here's the batch file:

    cd\ cd Documents and Settings
    cd My Username
    "c:\Program Files\7-zip\7za.exe" a -tzip -p -r test.zip "My Documents\*"

Which should CD to the folder containing "My Documents" then call 7za.exe from it's installation folder, prompt for a password, then create test.zip with the entire contents of "My Documents"

I get prompted for a password, then I get "scanning" but then the error "Not Implemented"

    help!

Ah - I tried omitting the -tzip bit and it works now - not sure what file format it's using but I guess I'll find out soon !

While I'm here does anyone know how to zip a file so that the folder itelf is passworded, rather than the individual files ?

      Simon

Maybe that folder is too big (> 4GB)?
If so, wait next versions. I plan to add support for Zip64 extension for ZIP format.

Thanks Igor, that's great.  Yes I think it may have been more than 4Gb - I've been stripping some stuff out of it and archiving some files to see if that helps.

Any idea when the Zip64 extension will be added?

If everything will be OK, it will be in next beta version (in 7 days).
