We are using 7zip to compress database dump files each day in our company. However sometimes, due some reasons archives get corrupted on NAS machine, where are they stored (NAS/network failures, doesn't matter). The point is, once archive get's broken, week after that, on same day 7zip won't compress files to that archive (distinct archive name per day of week), because it can not be read.
Now it require manual intervention (delete corrupted archive), so next backup could recreate archive.
Unfortunately both commands (add/update) works same way. It will fail, if destination archive is corrupted.
Is there any way to resolve that issue using proper command line parameters, or i will have to modify my batch files to remove target archive anyway each time before 7zip command?
