      Still need:
      https://sourceforge.net/p/sevenzip/discussion/45797/thread/dd4edab390/#76d4/718c

Please add SHA-512 in hashing tab!

Microsoft has moved to only provide SHA-512 hashes for some downloads e.g.:
      https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/thank-you/sdk-5.0.102-windows-x64-installer

      SHA-512 for DOT NET RUNTIME:
      378dd2a216f4274fdddea6c385dba859ed7dad884214e48cca6e088529e0082486866c5d5e59e30d15baca0ea638963b6e4fb72bee1cac77ef6e12d3bb6f99b2

It will really be needed in future to verify downloads and it is a useful feature for many people to check integrity.

Can you please add a dark mode option? it's really needed when you set the entire OS to dark mode.

Also, are you working on a macOS version of 7-Zip? The alternatives that are already there aren't as good as the original 7-Zip.

      Thanks

And for ARM64 version, I think this is great, as for example pi4 and similar ARM64 boards are verry common used, but even more people use only the 32 bit version in armhf.

Anyway, did the integrated benchmark test on pi4 4GB @2GHz on ubuntu 20.10 ARM64:

The readme.txt file in the package 7z2101-linux-x64.tar.xz, section "7-Zip and p7zip" does not specify anything about the new p7zip 17.03 fork (by szcnick -> jinfeihan57) only the old p7zip 16.02.

Official download p7zip project - Latest Version p7zip_16.02_src_all.tar.bz2 (4.2 MB), but p7zip 17.03 by szcnick and jinfeihan57 is not official fork and this changes not included in to official p7zip project.

I hope that with the Linux-64 build on FreeBSD UNIX I can refuse P7zip and Wine HQ + 7-Zip for Win64 bundles - it hurts a long time to configure Wine when changes in mathematics set. :)

When can we expect a new "Stable" version?

    • Igor Pavlov

      Igor Pavlov - 2021-03-10

This alpha version is near to "stable" status.
Only some new code that is specific to linux version was not tested enough.
So you can use this alpha for Windows as "stable" now.
And I plan that Windows version will get official "stable" status soon.

21.01 alpha doesn't cleanup uninstall entries correctly when being uninstalled on Windows 10, leaving an invalid install entry

    Hi

The "ssp" option does not work with parameters for compression in GUI version (7-Zip 21.01 alpha) !!!

    Please correct this error

The new -ssp switch. If the switch -ssp is specified, 7-Zip doesn't allow the system
to modify "Last Access Time" property of source files for archiving and hashing operations

Hi! I see that 7z 20.01 is being distributed under LGPL license but I don't any sources of this version. Where can I found the sources?
    Thank you.
