Also, in the Settings tab, it should have check for updates automatically checkbox. This is the idea which i found from such as AnyBurn, GBurner, and other.
While about my concept for add check updates, it would be nice. although I know we also not check updates automatically, it should be disabled for my opinion.
This is another concept again in the Options menu dialogue. From here, you can check for updates automatically in Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly, as well Fortnightly.
Periodically checks for program updates. 7-Zip will only check for an update once per day, regardless of how many times the program is started.
Here's another concept: During setup after install 7-Zip, a message appears if you want turn on or off Check for updates.
Here's the dialogue message shows if the 7-Zip wants to enable check updates:
Would you like 7-Zip to periodically check if a newer version is available?
PLEASE NOTE: You must be connected to the Internet in order for this check to work!
The text are same as from ImgBurn and that is why I did revamped this dialogue.
So, How does it work?
Clicking "Yes" means enables check update, the default option sets Weekly.
Clicking "No" means disables check update, you will be able Update manually instead. also, the default option sets Never and "Check for Updates Automatically" are turned off by default.
In my opinion, I only check update a bit for some reason.
While 7-Zip does not include Check updates, here is the concept I made on the Help Menu.
Check for Updates...: Allows to check updates on 7-zip website.
7-Zip Homepage: Which allows to visit 7-zip website (that appeared on About 7-zip dialog).
Once the checking updates, a Message will appear which a new version is available, possibly this is just concept about check update for 7-Zip.

The program should not have any internet capabilities in my opinion.
For those there is simple: we can install latest version for 7-zip in future. like disabling check updates.

Here is another concept once you already updated to the latest version.
If we check updates again, it says "Up to date", this means you are using the latest version of 7-Zip.
