I am backup log files with 7za -ssw since logs open for write in another software.
Backup archives is OK, but some time CRC of files in archive is bad. I assume that the this files was modified while 7z archiving them.
Is there any way to solve a problem with the bad CRC in resulting archive?
P.S. I use 7za.exe version 9.20
Do you see "CRC error" for "test archive" operation, or something else?
Check RAM with
Yes, I see "CRC error" for "test archive" operation.
Memory is OK, the effect is manifested in several PC.
Now I try same operation with 7z 9.25 alpha - all OK. I could not get the same error.
Do you make both "Compression" and "Testing" on several computers?
if archive is corrupted during compression, 7-Zip will show "testing" error on any computer.
In 99% cases such errors mean hardware error. And RAM error is most possible.
It can be also disk error, or network error.
Did you check RAM with http://www.memtest.org/ on all your computers?
If no, do memtest for all of them at first.
