Please add .dar support. Often I just want to pack files together to more easily store them on external hard drives (one big file is a lot easier to transmit than lots of very small files...), but tar is a solid-type archive (if there's one bit corrupted, the whole archive is damaged), whereas dar is non solid and thus can still recover other files that are in non damaged parts of the archive.
Dar is great for achival purposes, please support it! I think the licences of 7Zip and Dar are compatible, so you should be able link to their library without any licencing issue.
