On extracting files, the creation date is set according to the stamp of the items in the archive.
However, Windows has a live file sort which is a living nightmare when extracting files into a directory with items already in. I moved to Win10 from XP which lacked the live sort and just put files at the end which was perfect, as I could sort when I wished and see what was added. Now they just appear here there and everywhere.
It would be good to have the ability to extract files with the creation date set to now (ignoring the stored date) so that added files could be found by sorting by creation date.
Or perhaps someone has another way of achieving this end? the live sorting of files I find is crazy.
Cheers,
David

There is no such option in 7-Zip UI for that feature now.
