A couple of things that the built-in Windows Explorer ZIP utility has which is really useful, especially for complete noobs who need things to be as simple as possible, is that if you extract it gives the (default) option to open in a regular windows explorer window after extraction, whereas 7 zip you have to manually go to the folder afterwards.
They also detect if you are trying to run an EXE which may be dependant on other files in the ZIP and prompts you to extract the lot of it accordingly
It would be great if 7-zip could take inspiration from these features
