Using command line:
7z.exe a -tbzip2 filname.tar.bzip2 filename.tar
I get this message; but it creates the bzip2 file.
The parameter is incorrect.
This works with not message
7z.exe a -tgzip filname.tar.gz filename.tar
Yes, there is a bug. I'll fix it next version.
Now you can remove filname.tar.bzip2 before operation.
Thanks; like I said; it sill works; I just get an error message.
You guys are doing a great job.
i try to zip a file using below command.
7z a -tgzip directory\%filename%.client.txt.gz directory\%clientFileName%.client.txt
instead i received error parameter is incorrect and gzip file is not created.FYI %filename% and %clientFilename% above have a same value. if i change/hardcode %clientFileName% to another value, i works fine. the gzip file created.
would appreciate any help, please.
Remove gz archive before operation.
