The main archiver is WinRAR, and a worthy replacement for 7Zip, but one has a price problem, and I would buy it, but there is no way to connect archives and folders as virtual disks, as well as create images, 7Zip is not bad, but in addition to the same problems, new OS has problems with file associations, and default selection. So there is no normal archiver for me. Recently I found another WinMount. It's a pity that the project is abandoned. I could not find a newer than 10 years, as well as a way to pay. But the functionality and appearance are good for their time, there is a connection of the archive as an image, as well as folders... But tests on a virtual machine showed that it does not work with 7Zip, and other archives, although there is support for them, but apparently outdated, it only works with Zip and ISO images, in the end, no matter what messes with the command line, I use 7Zip, Visual Subst 1.0.6 it is free yet, and works on 10, and WinCDEmu.
