If you mean Java ARchives, and Enterprise ARchives, then yes, since they are really just Zip files. If you mean JAR, the new compression program from the makers of ARJ, then you're out of luck.
RAR (as in WinRAR) is also supported.

actually "JAR, the new compression program from the makers of ARJ" is still at the version it was at least six years ago when I first tested it and it was using for its archives the extension ".j" and not ".jar".
Althougt it is old it has some features I think interesting (multiple versions of a file in same archive).
