When I try to run 7zip's cmd line it flashes and vanishes. I can't figure out how to run the necessary scripts. Any help would be appreciated. If I try to access the help file associated the the program it refuses to load.

I think I know the problem. You are launching 7z.exe from Explorer by double-clicking it, right? 7-Zip has no command line of its own. You should launch Command Prompt instead, and there you can invoke 7-Zip from.
P.S. As fernando suggests, please describe what you are doing in more details. But what seems even more important to me, what do you want to do? Do you possibly want to write a script of your own which uses 7-Zip?

What executable are you attempting to run.
and how are you attempting to invoke the executable?
What type of scripts, and how are you
attempting to invoke the scripts?
What is the operating system?
