I think the people who have worked many hours on this, and would like donations from users of 7-zip, would like to know that their work is being sold by some ~~~~~~~~ seller on ebay, the further annoying thing is.. that it sells !!, well why wouldn't it, it does what it says on the tin, to coin a phrase, however, it is not right that others should make money off your product, your hard work.
eBay developed the Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Program to facilitate cooperation between eBay and rights owners protecting their intellectual property rights. ...
There's no problem with that. The GPL allows people to take the software and do as they please, including selling it, as long as they abide by the terms of the license.

LOL! What an idiotic and wrong answer is that? - You cannot use free software and sell it like you did it yourselv. There is room to do it if you sell information how or where to download this software. Thats how many do it but I didn´t see it in this case.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Your post demonstrates quite clearly that you do not understand how the GPL works or what it says. Please read the GPL and/or ask a lawyer if you do not understand the license. In short, you can do whatever you like with the code, including renaming it to a different product name and selling it for any price you like. The only catch is that you must abide by the GPL which, in short, means not removing copyright information, licensing any changes under the GPL, and making an offer to provide source code upon request (or just including it).
Does the GPL allow me to charge a fee for downloading the program from my site?
Yes. You can charge any fee you wish for distributing a copy of the program. If you distribute binaries by download, you must provide “equivalent access” to download the source—therefore, the fee to download source may not be greater than the fee to download the binary.

Why would that be an issue? what is a linux distribution, if not a collection of open source / free software on a cd and sold?
The GPL has a number of restrictions, but "you can't sell this software" isn't one of them.

All of this is documented in great detail all over the net. You may want to start by reading the GPL FAQ: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html
