sourceforge is now modifying the 7-zip installer to perform "drive-by" installs of malware like "MySearchDial" and making unwanted changes to the registry and browser settings; compromising system security. This became a major problem for one of my clients and I have advised him to pursue litigation once the extent of the damages is known. 7-Zip and anything affiliated with sourceforge will now join a black-list of "harmful" software expressly advised against to my clients.
I know good hosts are hard to find, but I sincerely hope you break away from SF and find a better host.
Just what was it that you downloaded?
Was it some sort of "stub" installer?
Other then the malware, did you also get 7-zip?
I'm not seeing anything odd with the 9.20/9.22 .exe downloads, 7-zip & nothing more.

Where did you download your malware?
