image files like jpg are associated with Windows Photo Gallery. The open command is a Rundll32.exe call. If you double-click a file in an archive to open it, 7zip extracts the file, calls the open event handler and waits it. At the end, the temporary file get deleted. DU to the fact that it's an dll (photoviewer.dll), the WIndows Photo Gallery is not able to find the desired file...because it has been deleted already.

The bug is still present in version 4.64
This problem still exists in Vista/7 with 7-Zip 9.22 beta.

Another solution would be to keep temporary files and folders around and only delete them once the 7zfm-process is closed.
