Using the context menu to 'Add to Archive...', attempting to create a new archive (regardless of compression format, zip, 7z, etc.) pops this up instantly.

and it show up "interface not supported
but if i copy paste it into my laptop with an older version it
works perfectly

You don't need specify BCJ2 and so on anymore. 7-Zip will
use it for exe files in ultra mode.
But you can specify these switches, if you slect "store" mode
in level list.

Today, I recieved this same error. I saw it when I was
using the .7z format.
a). When I accidentally set up the archiver to overwrite a
file of the same name. (eg. Replacing Junk.7z with Junk.7z)
b). When I tried to add files to a .7z archive. (eg.
Copying Stuff.exe into Junk.7z)
I didn't have this error in the other compression formats
that 7-zip supports.
I also use "Windows XP" as my OS.
