Linux: 7zip breaks some symlinks when extracting
A free file archiver for extremely high compression

I have many archives created with symlinks that links to my filesystem by absolute path after extracting this becomes broken. Command line argument "-snld20" not working, links also broken and no warnings displayed.
Many years I am using p7zip and it works as expected: any symlinks archived/extracted without any command line manipulations (as ought to be).
Linux distributions began to replace p7zip with 7-zip (why!?) and it provides many problems using 7z archives.
So, using "-snl" and "-snld20" should never modify symlinks its must be exactly as is.
P7zip(default), tar(default), rar(need special command line argument) works correctly with all symlinks..
I totally agree. Archive is to archive files. That should be a basic feature.
