7z a test.7z *.txt -x!*.* will create an empty archive.
It should include all files with a txt extension and
nothing else. Higher specificity should always override
more general options. *.txt is more specific than *.*
I agree. precedence should be based on specificity.
if I use -i@incl.txt and incl.txt has the entry '*\spam\one-in-a-million.msg' (w.o. the quotes), then I expect that file to be included even if the -x@excl.txt has '*\spam\'.
