No

I happened to use the latest version of 7-Zip 22.01 to extract files from VS2010 Image Library (.zip file) and there is an underscore appended to the file extensions of the extracted files. Both WinRAR and Windows Explorer are able to process the file correctly. This happens in both Windows 7 and Windows 10. I have attached the VS2010 Image Library file to this message for verification.

files headers in that zip archive have space (0x20) at the end of name:
    "Properties.png "
But Windows doesn't allow spaces at the end of name. So 7-Zip replaces that space character to underscore _.
We could remove such space at tail. But I suppose that it's better to write _ characters instead of incorrect character. So users can see that something is wrong.
That zip archive probably is not official zip archive from microsoft.
    Where did you get it?

Thank you for your explanation. It is an official zip file from Microsoft.
It is installed during installation of Visual Studio 2010 Professional
Edition and I also installed Visual Studio Service Pack 1 as well, so I am
not sure if the service pack replaced it.
