#1659 Just A Flash

When I click on a zipped folder, I see a brief flash, but the folder doesn't open / unzip. I need to R click and choose 7Zip> Open Archive. This didn't always happen, can't really say when it started. Might have been when I got this new win 7 computer?

any idea what's happening??

Just bumping this, hope someone has some good advice for me.

Sounds like the file associations are not setup properly.
Open 7-zip File Manager from the Start Menu (right click and run as Administrator).
Go to Tools and then Options.
On the first screen you can see what the files are associated with. Make sure 7-zip is the default.
If it continues to fail then try removing the association fully in Windows Folder Options > File types under Control Panel.
