No

When you create a file incorrectly filled fields "user" and "group." Instead of the ID of the current user and the group recorded zeros.
Some programs may fail to handle such values.

Sorry for my poor English.

Do you mean Windows version of 7-Zip?
Windows doesn't uses posix user and group ids.
    What problem do you expect?

    Yes, 7zip for Windows.
I use it to creat firmware images for ODIN (flasher for phones). ODIN froze during flashing process. tar from MinGW recorded ID instead of zeros. ODIN processed such archive correctly. It is possible that this is a problem of the program, not 7zip.
    Tar from 7zip:
    r:\samsung FW>tar tvf recovery.tar
    -rwxrwxrwx 0/0 5849088 2012-12-01 17:47 recovery.img
    Tar from MinGW:
    r:\samsung FW>tar tvf recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.1-p5110.tar
    -rw-r--r-- Radjah/Administrators 5849088 2012-12-01 17:47 recovery.img

Are there other differences between these TAR files?
