#129 Large archives - Access is denied

I am trying to backup a large group of files with
subdirectories. The total size is 30GB.

I start 7-Zip running and go do something during the
hours this takes.

Everything runs smoothly until the percentage
completion gets around the double-digit range. Then
the percentage completion box disappears and is
replaced with a little message/error box that indicates
only that "Access is denied". I can guess the
percentage because I had archives running on two
different machines at the same time, and I checked up
on each of them occasionally. Both machines got the
same error somewhere over 10%. Perhaps 4GB or
2^32 is some sort of overall size limit?

In any event, I am not having a great deal of luck
backing up 32 GB on my 60 and 80 GB drives,
although there should be plenty of additional free
space for a compressed archive on the drive.
