#105 Failure to install for all users (2.30b29)

No

The installation procedure for 2.30 Beta 29 on XP SP1
installs only for the current user. The Start Menu items
are created in the current user's folder, instead of All
Users. The .7z file association is created in HKCU
instead of HKLM. Thus, only the person who installed 7-
zip can use the software, and no other user on that
workstation. This is a problem for me, as I log in as
Administrator for doing admin-type jobs only, and then I
log in as myself (ordinary user) for doing all other jobs
(including trying to run 7-zip).

I have the same problem with 7-Zip 3.11 on WinXP. If another
users is logged in then the users who installed 7-zip, there
is no item in the Start Menu and no context menu. A possible
workaround is to copy the link to "7-Zip File Manager" to
the All Users Start Menu. Then every users has to open the
File Manager, open the menu Tools / Options... / Plugins /
Options... and check "Cascaded Context menu".

Oh, I actually didn't know that 7zip ever was associated as
the Open action -- I see that it is so associated in the
Administrator's context who installed it (which I never use) :)
