It's not a real bug, but IMHO it's a bug:
When I open archives with 7-zip I cannot delete the file from the windows explorer, it's locked until I close 7-zip.
With other archivers this don't happens.
This behavior is very annoying when working whit a lot of files. I download archives, test the files directly from program, and continue to next. This way I have a lot of files open, and from time to time I decide to delete one or several. So I constantly have to be aware to close archives before deleting them. I also have to find out which of the several windows corresponds to the archive I want to delete, or close all.
Can't it be changed?
It's not bug.
While it is not a good idea to delete an already opened file, it is too early for outright dismissing the entire bug report. What 7-Zip should have done is track the opened files, and ask user to automatically close the opened files (if possible) before deletion, instead of just simply rejecting deletion.
