A bug fix release with the following changes:
* Bug fixes only.
- Fix realpath call to handle symlinked SETI@Home executables
- Fixed PID check to detect stale pid file.
Both of these problems were found by Steve Wilson and my I thank him
for letting me know about them.
* Moved some code around internally to make future maintenance easier.
Thanks to a report by Joris Spekreijse, I have updated
SETILog to upport reading the resuilt from either result.sah
(if it exists) or result_sah.sah. The later file is generated
by SETI@Home version 1.4.3
Version 1.4.2 has some minor bug fixes and support for a stop_sasfter_send.txt file to stop the daemoin after the current
work unit has beenprocessed.
Version 1.4.0 is now available for download with the following changes:
* Added command line option -k to shut down a running daemon
* Added ability to pass comman line options directly to the SETI@Home client
when started as a daemon.
This new version of SETILog add support for the SETI@Home 3.0 data fields and generates log files that can be read by the newest version of SETIWatch.
This version also allow SETILog to run as a daemon which will start the SETI@Home client, wait for it to finish, log the results and the repeat the process.
Since I have token over maintenance for this package from Tobias, I decided to host it on Sourceforge. This release offers no new features except an OPen BSD build.
