Richard
I use the multiseti.pl perl script (available off a
link of Freshmeat), and this goes off and gets X seti
units at a time (I do it in multiples of 10 ! oo err !)
It sticks them in subdirs of the seti directory, called
1,2,3,etc....
And then it goes through and processes 1 at a time, the
idea being it saves having to have a connection every
day (or 3 times a day in my case).
There is a utility called wmsetimon (a window manager
seti applet, which will look in these different
directories, so you can monitor the progress of each
unit).
Here it comes ------------>
It would be very useful if your gnome seti_applet could
have a little left or right button, so it will look at
the state.sah files in each subdir (1,2,3,etc..)
Good Luck - and if you need a beta tester you know
where I am !
:-)
Thanks for all your hard work !
