Hi All! The v0.5.4 is now officially released. For a complete list of additions and fixes visit: http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=286217 The most important additions are debug features for Linux targets. Precompiled packages are available for: DOS, Win32 (BC++ 5.5 and Cygwin versions), Debian Woody (x86 and Alpha), Fedora Core 3, Red Hat 9.0, Red Hat 8.0 and Mandrake 10.0. For downloads: http://setedit.sourceforge.net/#download Note 1: The DOS version is also available from djgpp mirrors. Note 2: SuSE 9.x have some major problems that we couldn't workaround yet. I found some strange problems in 9.0 enterprise edition with updates and bbcat found another problems in 9.1. I also compiled RHIDE for DOS using this release (contains gdb 6.1.1 and was compiled with gcc 3.4.3 and the last djgpp 2.03): http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=32835&package_id=27741&release_id=287313 Enjoy, SET -- Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET). Hi All! Today I added Debian package stuff to RHIDE contributed by Baurjan Ismagulov. With it I generated a binary of RHIDE 1.5.0 + SETEdit 0.5.3 + TV 2.0.3. I created it using Debian GNU/Linux Woody x86. If anybody wants to test it please download it from: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=32835&package_id=27741 This binary have all the nice features of TV 2.0.3 and seems to be working ok. The most relevant feature is X11 native support. I think most TV and SETEdit users will find RHIDE as a nice gdb frontend. SET -- Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET). Hi All! Michel (bbcat) packaged v0.4.54 in RPM format for SuSE 8.0. Can be downloaded from Source Forge. The needed TV packages (1.1.4) are also available in the "tvision" project at Source Forge. Hi All! I'm releasing SETEdit 0.4.57 for testing. I uploaded a .zip for DOS/Windows and a tarball for UNIX. I also uploaded Debian Potato packages. What I didn't upload are statically linked binaries, the editor now links with X libraries and providing a binary statically linked with X libraries isn't a good idea. In the future I'll experiment with mixed binaries. I'm also releasing the TV snapshot needed for this SETEdit. This release is just to provide an snapshot and to allow me to drop TV 1.x compatibility. From now the code won't compile with TV 1.x, I'm moving a lot of code from the editor to TV and the code gets messy when I have to support both libraries. If anybody needs a fresh SETEdit that supports TV 1.x should try this release. This release supports X11 as native application. SET -- Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET). Hi All! Happy new year to all! Things in my country are really messy and it delayed my work a lot, sorry for the big delays. I uploaded to Source Forge a new pre-release I hope it can be widely announced as the new stable version. It just fixes bugs and updates the versions of some tools used (like using RHIDE 1.4.9 that changed configuration details). I also released an updated TV library that just fixes compilation issues, that's from a branch of my CVS because my trunk is currently TV 2.0.0. The development TV can generate applications that run in Linux console but when running under X creates their own window and communicates to the X server to get events. I hope a testing version will be available soon, but I need time. SET -- Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET).
