Right on spot. I tried it out, and when I use a framebuffer mode 
(vga=0x317) the problem is there; if I switch to a text mode (vga=0F05, or 
something like that) everything is OK. Any idea whom I should report the 
problem too?

P.S. Thanks for the help. I like using setedit, so it makes a lot of 
difference.
