I don't think that's the reason.
You have to send me errormsg.txt it contains the errors from the tests.
Last time I tried with djgpp the test worked. Are you sure that GNU 
install is the first install command in your path?
The test runs "install --version > file" and checks if the output 
contains "Free Software Foundation"
