TV and Big endian platforms!

Hi All:

  I don't know how much care about it but I managed to solve the tree endian
problems that were obvious in the TV demo example:

1) Mouse letting characters here and there.
2) Bogus shadows.
3) Non working keyboard (was worst to what I saw at first sight).

  The demo works quite well in a Linux/PPC.
