options that are ineffective due to some other option
should be visually represented as such (put into the
implicit state and greyed out).
a good example are "only in-/outside comments" in the
search dialog. they should be a radio group in the first
place (all/in/out), but at least the other checkbox should
be deactivated if one is checked.
this is cosmetics for somebody who already knows how it
works, but for a new user, this is usability.

1) That's quite complex.
2) Giving examples isn't enough.
I'll try to fix this particular issue, but you should report
every case you find.

I agree that's "usability" but I don't think that's wrong
behavior.
