*htmlatex does on-the-fly rendering of HTML files containing inline
LaTeX. LaTeX source code is typed directly into an HTML file. The file
is left unchanged, and the output is filtered, replacing raw source with
images. Rendered images are stored on the filesystem, reducing the
overhead as much as possible. Images are only recompiled if the LaTeX
source is changed, in which case the images are automatically updated.


Internet Explorer users can now see the rendered equations. Memcached is
no longer used. Instead, images are served from the filesystem.
