Debugging servlets is hard nut, Servletspy gives you a helping hand. Servletspy introspects the request context, the session context and servlet context and appends a HTML representation of the retrieved data to generated HTML
pages for every incoming HTTP request. The strategies used for introspection and visualization purpose are pluggable. The standard HTML visualization strategy is treelike. So the developers may dive into the structure of the objects available in the contexts to identify a problem. The second Sourceforge release of Servletspy is now availabel. Servletspy provides more context handlers to control the data serialization and visualization process. In addtion the documentation of Servletspy has been improved.
