Trying to load under Allegro CL 6.1 mlisp
"modern" lisp. The use of packages seems to be broken;
the use of T instead of t is bothersome, and not
corrected, it seems by (defparameter T t).
And the redefinition of defun causes an infinite
loop. Commenting that out still leaves redefinitions
of funcall, let, let* etc.

I suppose this is all related to problems with the
package system, but maybe also related to lower-case
usage.
I'm still figuring out if I can use the series package.
I'd like to.
Thanks

    Unfortunately, I don't have access to ACL to test this on.
    I'll try to get the free Linux version and try it out,
    eventually.

    I've made changes to the sources (mostly by making most
    things lower case) so that this should now work with
    Allegro's "modern" lisp. The tests pass using free Linux
    version of Allegro 6.1.
