The Linux 8250/16550 Serial Driver / News: Recent posts

This driver supports up to Linux 2.4.0test1, and corresponds with patches sent to Alan Cox.

Note this driver still doesn't support Linux 2.2.15, due to the poll-wait changes. I will get a new version of these patches out soon to support 2.2.15, I promise!

Serial driver 4.95 was released as a stand-alone package to sourceforge, and as a set of patches to Linus Torvalds for inclusion in 2.3.99pre9-2. This release is compatible with Linux 2.2.14 (and earlier), but is not compatible with 2.2.15, due to the poll_wait changes. Support for this will be in the next version of the driver.
