I've successfully attached an Ericsson A1018s display to the serial port, it works perfectly. However, the target board I'd like the display to attach to doesn't provide any serial ports, so I tried with a PL2303-based USB-Serial Converter.
The display works, but it is *really* slow (refreshing the display, etc.)!
Any advice what I can do?
Thanks

my t28 setup seems to be broken. i'll have to fix it first to make some tests (i have a PL2303 converter too).
as far as i remember this should only have been a problem with solaris 10 (slow refresh when using usb-ser.-converters) but it seems to be a problem with linux setups too ..
try playing around with setserial (i hope that i'll have some time to find the problem with the t28 setup)
