Hi Lahiru, The Sequoia mailing list has moved to seq...@li.... Tungsten and Sequoia have different purpose. Tungsten offers asynchronous replication (like MySQL replication) and Sequoia offers synchronous replication (all nodes are fully synchronized at all times). Depending on your consistency needs, performance and reliability requirements you might choose one or the other. A good place to start with Sequoia is the pdf documentation that is shipped in the distribution. Hope this helps, Emmanuel > > I'm looking forward to use Sequoia to use as a third party clustering > application to cluster my database (MySQL)which runs in few nodes in > Amazon EC2 which connects to another application in EC2. > > Can someone provide me some more information on where should I start > or do you prefer me to use Tungsten rather using Sequoia. > > Regards > Lahiru > > -- > Lahiru Gunathilake > Software Engineer - WSO2 Inc. > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > _______________________________________________ > Sequoia mailing list > Se...@li... > http://forge.continuent.org/mailman/listinfo/sequoia -- Emmanuel Cecchet FTO @ Frog Thinker Open Source Development & Consulting -- Web: http://www.frogthinker.org email: ma...@fr...
