+A wrapper used for Bio.Seq in Biopython(http://biopython.org/wiki/Biopython) that specifies a class object DNA.  This probably represents poor style as many of the functions should be performed within the specifications of Biopython.  The class method extractSeq(start, end) is useful for extracting specific sequences when the sequence is 1-based such as in .gff or .gtf annotations.
