seq24-users

[seq24-users] songmode: looping + position

Hi

It seems that seq24 with looping on doesn't start at the loop. Also I 
can't figure out how to start at (or move rolling playback to) a certain 
position. What am I missing?

On song editor you got a [L] and [R] markups on top. with right button 
you set the right side of the loop, with the left button you set the 
left side of the loop. with the looping button [L <=> R]  you enable 
looping.

Ok, I've got that already.

My problem is (hopefully better explanation than my last one follows):

1) I want to start playback at a say bar 90, how do I do that?

2) Seq24 is stopped. I want to start it directly in the loop (which is 
set to say bar 90-93), how do I do that?

hello,

i had the same problem :-(

and here is the solution:
go to the options menu, activate jack-sync in song mode and use qjackctl 
for starting, stopping and scrolling forward or backward...

I actually used the same work-around. Not the best, but it (kinda) works.
