I have managed to recreate the bug.
It happened when amending a file and not saving it.
Tabbing to another file in SEPY.
Then using another application for a period of time (not an AS editor  
and not opening the file in any other application)
returning to SEPY then tab switching to the amended file.
It is a local file.
