    Is this project officially dead? I'm looking for HostSentry, too, and there's nothing here. Is there a good alternative to HostSentry that anyone recommends?

sent the following email to Craig but didn't hear back. when it got sold to cisco, it disappeared from open source...

my vps got attacked and had this been available then, without having to pay cisco for open source software, it could have thwarted the unauthorized multiple login attempts.

just came across an open source version of it at:
