First time sensor-applet see device it store its label in gconf. Next time it gets its label from gconf.

I had 3 (sda, sdb, sdc) hard drives when I first run sensor-applet. I didn't change its labels and I even didn't know about that possibility. A bit later, I plugged 4th hd. I also changed order of hard drives in my system. New hd became sdb, sdb became sdc, sdc became sdd.

What I saw in sensor-applet was a bit disappointing: the labels didn't correspond real drive names. I didn't know that it is possible to change label manually in settings dialog. I saw two drive with identical name. I treat that as a bug in sensor-applet. Then I get sensor-applet source code and reveal that I can change labels, and that they are stored in gconf.

I suggest to store drive name only if user change it manually. For example, when the label is not changed it is shown grey, user can right click on it and choose: "rename", "reset to default" (to original drive name). If label is changed it is shown black.
