I figured I'd try SensorLock on my Omnia, despite its HTC target. Some applications work fine using the HTCemu.

I noticed the CAB installer detecting whether or not the HTC Accelerator/SDK dll's are available. On my Samsung i900 Omnia, I the HTCEmu dlls to the \Windows folder and re-ran the cab installer.

However, though it now passes the dll check, the setup seems to either get 'stuck', or take a _very_ long time to get started. I tried the previous version too, same problem.

To semi-bypass this, I extracted the cab and renamed the files to their CAB-extracted counterparts, using the _setup.xml directives. This got me the files, but plainly running the exe file tells me it's not a valid Pocket PC Application.

Is the cab vital to make the application install (i.e. does it change some registry values or something)? If not, then this probably is the incompatibility with the non-HTC devices, but if somehow I can still get it to work on the Omnia, it'd be great! :)
