I have updated the SenseRelate web page to include links to WordNet-SenseRelate-WordToSet. This is something that fell through the cracks and should have been done when WordToSet was released back in June!! Please find the updated page at: http://www.d.umn.edu/~tpederse/senserelate.html http://senserelate.sourcceforge.net So, now we have three SenseRelate methods available - each of them in some way wants to assign a sense to a word by finding the sense that is most related to the senses of neighboring words. These measures of relatedness and similarity are done with WordNet-Similarity, and in order to have a sense assigned to it or be used in such a comparison, the word must be known to WordNet. So, the three methods we provide are: WordNet-SenseRelate-AllWords wants to assign a sense to every word in a text. WordNet-SenseRelate-TargetWord wants to asssign a sense to a every occurrence of a given target word. WordNet-SenseRelate-WordToSet wants to assign a sense to a given target word that is most related to a given set of words. So, the entire SenseRelate family is back together at the SenseRelate home page. Please pay them a visit. :) Cordially, Ted -- Ted Pedersen http://www.d.umn.edu/~tpederse |
