Welcome to Semiotics project!

This is a study on automatic generation of stories. The aim is to explore the cognitive and literary fields to eventually implement models and tools to help you create new stories, poems, and scenarios from a minimum set of generic parameters.

We are investigating differents areas of knowledge. For each of those areas we try to keep short summaries, descriptive pictures and usefull links. This page keeps track of our current investigations on story generation topics.

A story is made of actions, emotions and style. It requires many competences in semantics, scenario construction, story telling, psychology. We'll get inspired from current literary theories and try to build our own models. Our final objective would be to implement an automatic story generation software.
