I've been playing with semantic mediawiki and have set up some pages,
imported some external RDF and built some queries and things. Some of the
entries I've made on my wiki are part of that wiki. Some of them are about
terms that have URIs defined outside of the wiki, much like the terms I've
imported. I want to use the wiki to curate the RDF for these terms, so
there is no RDF of them to import. However, when I export, I need the RDF
to be using that URI from outside, not the URI of the page. I've added the
magic to get it to generate OWL:SameAs assertions, but this is not really
enough for my needs. I need it to be generating assertions directly on that
external URI, not on the page URI.
Is there a way to do this? I'm sure there must be, because I can add extra
content to the imported terms. When I try to use the same markup to link a
page with one of my external terms, I get an error indicating that I've not
imported the term, which of course I have not.
